Tamamono - 賜物-
What is the Teaching behind the KOTO 13 Strings

"Tamamono" is a unique Japanese music lesson plan from KOKONE that is unlike any other Japanese music classes or teaching methods.
Each of the 13 strings had a name.
KOKONE interprets each word as a message from our ancestors that they want to convey to those who wish to learn the koto.
We have created instructional content that will allow you to solve the problem and create a sound that takes into account its history and philosophy.
The Tamamono Course aims to develop players who perform while sensing the meaning entrusted to each of its 13 threads. The teachings of Tamamono are like a jigsaw puzzle, made up of 13 stories that nurture the Japanese spirit. More than simply teaching technique, the 13 stories are teachings that nurture the Japanese heart and sensibility... When you have learned all 13 pieces, the one-piece gift within you will be complete.
[For example, in the case of the 仁 chapter]
仁 means to have compassion and mercy on others.
The sound is to love everyone equally without discrimination, and to be a sound that gives compassion.
We start by helping you feel the thoughts that went into the product.
Each one-hour course is based on historical facts and an emotional curriculum.
I will teach you in a way that is enjoyable and worth listening to.
KOKONE's unique approach is distinct from the temptation to simply play, introduce information easily, or make it easy for anyone.
This is a Japanese music class.
